Duties: Associate with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Dallas, TX. Associate in the Corporate Treasury Division. Define business requirements and testing approach/scripts. Monitor work stream performance and analyze Automated Clearinghouse (ACH) risks and barriers to progress. Develop a full understanding of relevant product and market knowledge. Develop Automated Clearinghouse (ACH) reporting and monitoring metrics, identifying issues, and making recommendations to resolve. Work on the delivery of new projects and the development of monitoring tools and processes. Partner with stakeholders to track and deliver joint goals. Manage risks associated with payment operations in a real-time environment. Communicate issues with both internal and external counterparts, including agent banks.
Job Requirements: Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or in a related role OR Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Must have one (1) year of experience (with Master’s) OR three (3) years of experience (with Bachelor’s) with the following: cash management and working with U.S. payment system, including Automated Clearinghouse (ACH), Fedwire, checks, and network rails; working in a regulated banking environment and cross-functional teams to identify risk gaps and developing continuous improvement initiatives to mitigate against fraud; National Automated Clearinghouse Association (NACHA) operating rules, including returns and exception item processing; NOSTRO account reconciliation, Automated Clearinghouse (ACH) file monitoring, and manually posting transactions; developing internal training and statement of procedures; partnering with a Transaction Banking business unit to resolve incidents, file errors and rejects, and monitoring controls; working directly with the line and cross-functional teams to identify risk gaps and continuous improvement opportunities; developing procedures, working with various projects team, and assisting with building systems and controls to meet new consumer business requirements and onboarding industry or regulatory requirements; and escalations and issue recovery and resolution related to payment activities.
