The Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Nursing Operations and Patient Care Services at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center is an active member of MedStar Health entity-based Division of Nursing's (DON) leadership/management team and is responsible for the operations of nursing services under the direction of the entity's Chief Nursing Officer (CNO). MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center is a growing, three-time Magnet Designated facility with a busy and dynamic atmosphere.

What we're looking for:

• Well-rounded Nurse Leader with experience in a variety of service lines
• 10+ years of progressively responsible leadership roles in nursing (preferably up to level of Senior Director)
• Experience with Magnet Designation
• Solid background in managing operational needs
• Ability to implement programs/projects from start to finish

More about the role:

• Forward facing/frontline person between the CNO and Operations
• Four direct reports (Service Line Senior Nursing Directors)
• Will assist with Capacity Management through Cerner (needs experience with and understanding of IT Infrastructure)
• Will oversee Quality Initiatives (CLABSI, CAUTI, Blood Culture Contamination, etc.)

Pay: $175,000.00 - $195,000.00 per year
