Nature of Work:

Assistant Teachers and After School Staff actively supervise children while maintaining a safe environment that is in accordance with our Mission and Vision. Staff members nurture the children by considering their emotional, intellectual, physical, and social development.

After school Assistant Teachers work Monday through Friday, 2:30-6:00.

Essential Functions:

-Supervise children indoors and outdoors during the After School Program

-Maintain a safe environment

-Operate the classroom according to Bright from the Start regulations

-Arrive on time and complete each shift

-Communicate with staff and families in a positive and professional manner

-Use language and management techniques that are appropriate in a Montessori setting

-Follow all rules in the Employee and Parent Handbook

-Complete all training requirements within 90 days of hire (Health & Safety and Strengthening Families)

-Follow all COVID-19 standards articulated in the Handbook

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
