What you get to do:
As an Assistant Supervisor for Guest Arrival, you’ll help lead and inspire a team to deliver great guest experiences from the get-go. - Provide exemplary Service and ensure Operations Standards are met
- Supervise Ambassadors and team leads for maximum productivity while enforcing and complying safety procedures, guidelines and park policies and procedures
- Assist with monitoring the area opening and closing procedures and ensure all Ambassadors complete tasks within a timely manner.
- Manage daily sub-department labor, daily break rotations, and daily staffing assignments
- Adhere to the Child Labor Laws regarding breaks and hours worked per day
- Handle Guest Service matters in a timely manner according to *Assist Operations supervisor with the training and counseling of Ambassadors and team leads while ensuring and compliance with all cash handling and employment standards
- Complete appropriate paperwork and administer discipline.
What it takes to succeed:
- At least 16 years of age
- At least three (3) months of Ambassador experience or equivalent external experience preferred
- High School Diploma preferred
- Valid drivers license preferred
- A passion for customer service
- Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills
- Outstanding communication and problem-solving abilities
- Active listener with the ability to anticipate guests’ needs
- Ability to work in a team to promote and ensure a safe and secure environment
- Ability to assist with pre and post season setup and breakdown on a limited basis. This involves both administrative and *Flexibility to perform varied duties
What else is important:
- Ability to lift, push, pull and/or carry up to 50 lbs
- Position engages in extensive walking and standing throughout entire work shift
- Perform the following physical activities: kneeling, squatting, bend floor-to waist/waist-to-overhead, reach overhead, simple grasp and fine hand manipulation tasks (use of tools/keyboard/writing)
- Perform cleaning duties; including use of cleaning chemicals
- Willingness to comply with all SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors, in varying weather, to include extreme heat
- Flexible, consistent availability (including nights, weekends and holidays) and adhere to our 2022 Holiday and Availability agreement.
- Consistently practice safe work habits including the use of
- All ambassadors who are not fully vaccinated must wear a mask at all times during their shift
- Ability to successfully complete all legal, company and department training requirements within established timelines
