Verona Inspired Italian located inside of the Cambria Hotel in Shelby Township is seeking a dynamic, team member focused individual to join our team as an Assistant Restaurant Manager/Front of House Manager.

What we're looking for:

• Visible and hands on in the front of house ensuring a strong presence with FOH staff and customers. Taking an active part in guest service duties as needed (welcoming guests, escorting guests to tables, taking guest’s orders, clearing tables, etc.
• Manage and Lead by example
• Effectively delegates tasks to staff and follow up to ensure completion
• Ensure cash management & inventory procedures are completed accurately
• Communicates Effectively both in person and via email to all team members to ensure that the team is all on the same page.
• Help attract patrons by developing and implementing specials and events to be communicated to our marketing team.
• Assists in recruiting and retaining staff. As well as ensuring that the restaurant is staffed to properly to meet and exceed sales goals.
• Ability to assist with admin projects during down time while on shift.
• Ability to assess where in the restaurant you may be needed at any given time.
• Any other duties deemed necessary.
• Have strong knowledge of health code, responsible alcohol service, computer operations and time management.
• Focused on being a team player

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
