Description of Position
The College of Liberal Arts at Northeastern State University is seeking a full-time, tenure track Assistant Professor to teach undergraduate level social work classes.
Responsibilities
Teaching
Social work faculty members teach a full-time load (12-13 credits per semester) in online, face- to-face, or blended formats.
Service
Serve on academic committees, advise and mentor students, perform scholarly research activities, and service activities.
Required Education and Experience
An MSW from a Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) accredited program
A minimum of two years post-MSW social work practice experience (Gerontology field is preferred)
A DSW/Ph.D. in social work or related field. ABD’s will be considered, but must complete all degree requirements by July 31, 2022;
Teaching experience in micro, mezzo and/or macro teaching experience
Capacity to teach across program levels (bachelor's and master's)
Ability to teach via various instructional delivery methods including face-to-face, service-learning, and online

Annual salary $57,062.00 with excellent benefits
