We are looking for an Assistant Manager candidate (AM). If you are not familiar with our brand, Gus's is a full service restaurant serving beer and wine, with what is arguably the best fried chicken in the world. We are looking for a passionate candidate that will work to earn these accolades alongside their team, every piece, every time.

We are looking for an organized and goal-oriented Assistant Manager to help oversee the running of our restaurant. To be successful as an AM you should have excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service.

Qualified candidates must be charismatic, dependable, and experienced, with natural leadership abilities. They must have a passion for this industry and truly understand customer service.

In addition to earning a salary, there is potential for quarterly bonuses. The AM position requires approximately 50hrs wk +/-.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 4 years of management experience in a full service restaurant
• Working knowledge of all aspects of front and back of the house operations
• Must possess strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire others
• Ensure compliance with licensing, hygiene, and health & safety legislation/guidelines
• Maintain the highest standards of quality in food as well as service
• Recruit, develop, and supervise staff
• Forecast business trends for company operations
• Review P&L regularly with Regional Operations Manager to ensure that key financial targets (food cost, labor, etc.) are being met
• Monitor repairs and maintenance issues
• Monitor morale of the staff and check in with all employees on a regular basis
• Ensure that food quality and guest experience meet brand standards at all times
• Ensure compliance with all company standards, and brand standards
