Vista Montessori School is seeking an honest, compassionate, energetic, motivated, creative, organized, and dependable teacher to join our teaching team. Applicant must enjoy working with young children ages 6 weeks to 3 years of age and be flexible with working between classrooms and with children from 6 weeks to 6 years of age.

We offer competitive pay, $300 monthly wage enhancement, paid time off, medical insurance, voluntary dental and vision insurance, scholarships for trainings and annual incentives, flexible schedules, no weekends or evenings after 6 pm. *** Please note that while we do offer an employee tuition discount, we currently do not have any openings to add additional children to our program. ***

The following qualifications are required:

• Available to work Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., as the position requires
• Flexible and willing to work 30-40 hours per week
• Experience in early child education
• Have a high school diploma or GED
• Must be CPR/First Aid certified and have a Boise City Childcare License (or be willing to obtain upon hire. The school offers financial assistance to obtain license.)

Daily tasks would include the following:

• Assist in planning and implementing daily program under the direction of the teaching team
• Creating and supervising projects and crafts
• Clean up after meals, which includes, cleaning the children, tables, sweeping, and mopping floors etc.
• Daily classroom cleaning
• Diapering children as needed
• Ability to move with ease from the ground to standing
• Ability to lift children
• Supervise all activities to ensure safety at all times
• Communicating with parents

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
