About the hotel: The Comfort Suites is located at 1081 Lydia Drive Marysville, Ohio.

Your Responsibilities:

The Assistant General Manager is responsible for assisting the General Manager by providing cooperative leadership and managing processes to ensure the hotel meets and maintains all company expectations regarding quality, service, profit, and teamwork. Assist in promoting, developing, and maintaining a work environment that provides an exceptional service experience for both team members and guests. Assist with operating the hotel within an approved annual operating budget. Assists in ensuring hotel policies and procedures are consistently communicated and followed. Always maintains a high standard of integrity, service, and hospitality with team members, customers and co-workers.

Essential Qualifications:

• Manages budgets and financial plans and controls expenditures
• Maintains statistical and financial records
• Sets and achieves sales and profit targets
• Recruits, trains, and monitors staff
• Plans work schedules for individuals and teams
• Greets customers
• Deals with customer complaints and comments
• Addresses problems and troubleshoots
• Ensures events and conferences run smoothly
• Supervises maintenance, supplies, renovations, and furnishings
• Deals with contractors and suppliers
• Ensures security is effective
• Carries out inspections of property and services
• Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations
