The Assistant Director of Residential Services is responsible for ensuring that high quality support is provided to all individuals residing at the residences within the _Bridgton /
New Glocester area. Responsibilities include ensuring health and safety for the individuals in our care, communicating with families/advocates, as well as maintaining a positive work environment for staff._
Additional responsibilities include ensuring that houses are staffed appropriately, ensuring evening and weekend on-call emergency coverage is in place, compliance with all regulations, coordination with nursing, as well as other administrative departments such as finance/billing, QA, Corporate Compliance, HR, Training, etc.
Additional Essential Functions:
* Help with managing progressive discipline, performance, and professional development initiatives.
* Coordinate and facilitate all aspects of planning for individuals and their guardians in the Person-Centered Planning Process.
* Role model initiative, a positive attitude, decision making and strong judgement
* Conduct supervision with every direct report
* Assist with the overseeing of ordering, inventory control, and the safe dispensation of medications according to CRMA guidelines. Provide quality assurance checks ongoingly to ensure compliance.
* Oversee scheduling for optimal efficiency, demonstrating a good understanding of staffing patterns and optimal billing percentages
* Participate in a rotating weekend on-call schedule
Qualifications
1. CPR/First Aid
2. DSP
3. CRMA
4. Able to drive company vehicles and transport residents
