Job description
Surfside Realty Company is currently seeking a full-time Assistant Community Manager to work with one of the Community Managers. Typical work week is Monday through Friday, 8:30-5:00, but some evenings and Saturdays are required. The ideal candidate must be someone she can multi-task.
List of duties include but are not limited to:
-Invoice coding and scanning, record monthly utility payment
-Meeting coordination (scheduling, notices, preparing meeting packets, preparation of minutes and minute distribution.
-Review emails daily and correspond accordingly
-Answering phone calls and emails from Board members, owners, contractors, realtors in a friendly and courteous manner.
-Distribute ARB request for approval and document once approved.
-Send letters regarding fines to owners in violation of HOA rules
-Complete Condo Questionnaires, Certificate of Assessments and Welcome packets to new owners
-Prepare and distribute assessment coupons
-Process checks received and deposit to bank
-Send out delinquent notices to owners in arrears; send documentation to attorney when needed.
-Maintain property Insurance log
-Knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook
This position provides room to grow and the successful candidate will be a self-starter who displays critical thinking skills, an attention to detail, and compassion. No prior experience in the field is required, but applicants should exhibit a strong desire to learn and an ability to be coached. Exceptional interpersonal skills, including writing capabilities, are a must. We are looking for someone who wants to grow their career and remain with the company for years to come.
