Job description
The Asset Specialist role plays a vital role in the asset department. This role is responsible for supporting assets with data integrity, entry, and projects thru the entire organization pertaining to assets, but not limited to assisting on day-to-day operations. To be successful in the role the candidate will need to have pay attention to the details and fill in the gaps where necessary.
Work day to day within McLeod and Dossier. Work with other departments to get units ready for new drivers coming to work. Come up with plans for truck movement within the PS Logistics family, then executing those plans. Work with outside vendors to plate and register new equipment.
Requirements:- Entering new equipment into our Dossier, and McLeod systems
- Scan documents into the Dossier cabinet, and equipment files.
- Being on the yard, inside units, under trailers
- Research existing data for unit services.
- Prepare reports for upper management
- Follow up with OEMs with trucks that are at dealerships for service.
- All other duties as assigned.
Experience working with a truck organization, proficient in Microsoft Word programs.
