Certified Transmission’s technicians are the trusted experts in the remanufacturing of automatic transmissions.

We are looking for motivated individuals for our Fort Dodge based operations. There are immediate opportunities for high caliber associates with automotive or mechanical background who have a desire to make an impact and drive results.

This is a hands-on position that puts YOU in charge of the entire remanufacturing process. We offer paid training with work hours that promote a healthy work life balance. This is a full-time position: Monday – Friday 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, paid overtime with no weekends or holidays.

Pre-employment drug screen & physical capacity test is mandatory

What skills you will use:

· Eagerness to learn

· Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills

· Ability to lift 35- 75 pounds

· Attention to detail

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

· High School or equivalent (preferred)

· Mechanical Experience (preferred)

What you will do as an Assembly Technician:

· Determine unit condition by conducting inspections and testing

· Diagnose transmission failures

· Identify worn and damaged parts

· Safely use variety of automotive tools

· Correct unit deficiencies by repairing, adjusting, and replacing sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems.

· Remanufacture transmissions to meet desired specifications

· Maintain a clean and safe workspace

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,300.00 per week
