Denali Universal Services is looking for an Armed Security Officer to work at the ENI facility on the North Slope of Alaska. This is a rotational position, working a 2 week on / 2 week off schedule. Travel is provided between Anchorage and the jobsite, and room/board is provided.

The remote Armed Security Officer position performs security services and other infrastructure support functions specific to the ENI work site and based on the contract requirements. This includes providing security and protection of work sites, personnel and assets; enforcing safety measures, operating a vehicle for patrol purposes, inspection and/or incident response services. Incumbents in this position are required to be firearms licensed, trained and qualified.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- High School diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- Prior work experience in private security, military service, law enforcement, corrections or a related field
- Emergency Trauma Technician certification (or ability to obtain)
- Class B CDL with passenger & airbrake endorsement (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to meet requirements to obtain a State of Alaska Armed Security Guard license.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check/driving record check, DOT drug test, and physical/fit for duty exam.

A strong preference will be give to those who already meet the CDL requirement listed above. Depending on the position requirements, DUS may assist employees in obtaining a Class B Commercial Driver License (CDL), with passenger and air brakes endorsements.
