Overview:WATCH GUARD 24/7 is a leading contract security guard firm in the New York area. We are seeking candidates who are interested in our Private School Security position in Queens or Manhattan. Must be retired or active law enforcement with unrestricted carry and armed security license. (for retired only)

Responsibilities:

• Officer's responsibilities will generally include, but not be limited to:
• Serving predominantly as front entrance security presence and maintaining high visibility
• Securing identification and managing the signing-in and out of visitors
• Reporting any facility issues
• Patrolling and monitoring school indoor and outdoor facilities to ensure the safety and well-being of students and staff and the security of the facility
• Notifying of any emergency, potentially dangerous, or unusual situations
• Adhering to Client policies, procedures, and rules
• Performing any duties and responsibilities that are within the scope of employment, as assigned by their supervisor, and not otherwise prohibited by law or regulation

Qualifications:

• Retired NYPD/CORRECTIONS law enforcement.
• Armed security guard license
• Unrestricted carry.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and operate as a team alongside other law enforcement security professionals.
• Must be able to drug test for employment.
• Virtus
• Must have Proof of Covid Vaccination

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
