Looking for a self-motivated, outgoing, reliable, diverse individual in New York. World Heritage International Student Exchange Programs is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to creating lifelong relationships with foreign exchange students & American families.

World Heritage provides semester & academic year exchange programs in the United States for high school-aged students (15 -18 years old) from around the World. As a World Heritage Area Coordinator, you will be making a difference in the world, one young person at a time.

DUTIES: Recruiting and training a team of local Area Representatives to serve as mentors to the students. Recruit host families and ensure proper screening is completed. Initiate and maintain contact with the local high schools that the students attend. The Area Coordinator is responsible for ensuring program compliance is maintained and documented by the Area Representatives throughout the duration of the students stay in the US.

You will receive training and ongoing support from your World Heritage Regional Director and the full World Heritage team. You are also able to work the position from your own home.

The Area Coordinator position is a part-time, stipend-paid position. Preference is given to those with experience working with youth and/or experience with exchange programs. Speaking a foreign language is a plus (French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, etc.)
