• Architectural Designer Responsibilities:

  • Meet with interested parties to establish design requirements for new construction, alteration, or maintenance/repair.
  • Obtain necessary measurements, dimensions, and other information for design.
  • Provide design recommendations based on program, budget, schedule, site, and current trends.
  • Use CAD software (Smart Plant Intergraph) and manual drawing techniques to produce architectural drawings and documents.
  • Update designs based on input from interested parties.
  • Provide support for cost estimates, schedule, equipment layout, construction, and specifications.
  • Ensure architectural project information and documentation is recorded and maintained.
  • Ensure drawings comply with industry codes and standards

Qualifications:

• Excellent technical skills, particularly with CAD software.

  • Strong creative design and time management skills.
  • Good computer skills.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in architecture or equivalent 5 to 8 years of experience.
