Our Ideal Candidate:

The Ideal candidate will be self-motivated, detail and deadline oriented. While working within a team environment and serving as a coach and or mentor to other associates to expand their knowledge and experience within the field while seeing projects through to completion. The successful candidate will also have the ability to execute and lead all phases of design including planning, feasibility, scope and concept development, construction documentation and construction administration.

The Architect with Project Management Emphasis, is expected to:

• Develop new and creative design concepts and see them through to completion
• Document and record existing conditions
• produce construction documents in AutoCAD
• Advice clients, coordinate with consultants and manage other staff members/associates
• Solid working knowledge of building codes
• Advanced knowledge in developing high end residential, commercial, and industrial detailing
• Strong command of project management; including developing and maintaining project budgets and schedules

Secondary Duties:

• Work with clients to determine requirements for building project
• Developing initial estimates on structure cost, building time and special requirements
• Directing staff in the development of project drawings, studies, and budgets
• Preparing work contracts for building subcontractors
• Visiting building worksites to ensure work is being done according to architectural plans
• Developing and giving presentations to inform the public about upcoming public building projects as they may develop.

Requirements:

• Batchelor Degree in Architecture
• 10 plus years’ experience
• AutoCAD V2018 or later
• SketchUp V2018 or later
• Microsoft Office
• PhotoShop CS5 or later
• Lumion preferred but not required
• Revit preferred but not required

Scheduled Work Hours:

Monday through Friday 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM.
