Job Overview
A technical role, this position exists to facilitate the operational aspects of the Connect CMAs to Admission, Discharge, and Transfer (ADT) data ARPA project. This position supports improved case management and care coordination for the transformation of raw data into actionable information that CMAs will use to improve case management activities

. This position uses data management software/applications such as MS Excel, TOAD and SharePoint to complete the required work.

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Pull down Protected Health Information (PHI) data from Department interface files.
  • Cleanse, organize, and analyze the PHI data based on member affiliation to vendors
  • contracted by the Department.
  • Ensure the files are complete, current, and stored securely and appropriately.

  • Provide training and technical assistance for users accessing the files.
  • Present complex technical information on file access processes, data file design, and
  • data exchange information, in a way that can be understood by audiences of varying
  • technical mastery.
  • Maintain user friendly files and provide actionable information.
  • Implement different types of data provision, presentation and visualization, using applications like MS Excel.

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience analyzing, manipulating, and presenting large data sets in a
  • professional manner to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience performing data management functions.
  • Strong expertise in MS Excel and MS SharePoint/Teams.
  • Working knowledge of SQL.
  • Ability to set and prioritize workload, develop a work plan with tasks, time frames,
  • milestones, resources, and dependencies.
  • Ability to be self-motivated and self-directed, while possessing the ability to work in a
  • team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Health care data experience.
  • Access database, PowerBI, and Tableau experience.
  • Technical writing or process documentation skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Microsoft Visio experience.
  • Experience reviewing and processing invoices and billing.

Specific job responsibilities:

  • Ensure tactical, project-based timelines are met for the ADT project and continued completion of mission-critical work by Office staff gets done.
  • Create and distribute Admission, Discharge, and Transfer (ADT) data files to Case Management Agencies (CMAs) through SharePoint.
  • Ensure ADT files and project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
  • Document process steps for internal and external stakeholders, providing work product to impacted stakeholders as directed by supervisor.
  • Provide training and orientation to technical staff at the case management agencies regarding file access and issue resolution.
  • Provide as-needed technical assistance and support to case managers as directed by Department staff.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports and project documentation.
  • Develop and deliver external communications for end users as directed by the role's supervisor.
  • Evaluate the project and assist with the identification of lessons learned and the key factors for success.
  • Review and process invoices submitted by participating agencies based on parameters established by Department staff.
  • Identify and escalate issues or irregularities within invoices for review by Supervisor or other Department staff

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: $65.00 - $80.00 per hour

  • Data analysis skills: 4 years (Required)
