Overview:
Key to providing Integrated Solutions is the supply of various types of water treatment equipment. Kurita America provides a wide array of equipment ranging from fully engineered systems to components sourced from OEMs. The Applications Engineer is responsible for the detailed design, specification, and support of equipment solutions in support of Kurita’s water treatment chemistry business. Providing Integrated Solutions for our clients is a critical component of delivering on Kurita’s corporate philosophy; “Study the properties of water, master them, and we will create an environment in which nature and man are in harmony.” The Integrated Solutions team is tasked with ensuring our front-line sales and field service teams are equipped with the innovation, knowledge, and information to execute, implement, and continuously improve on the promise of value we make to our clients.
Key to providing Integrated Solutions is the supply of various types of water treatment equipment. Kurita America provides a wide array of equipment ranging from fully engineered systems to components sourced from OEMs. The Applications Engineer is responsible for the detailed design, specification, and support of equipment solutions in support of Kurita’s water treatment chemistry business.
- Engage with sales on specific client opportunities
- Develop quotations and proposals for water treatment equipment in accordance with customer/sales specifications guidance. System design may include several unit treatment operations and may require your guidance in collection of detailed specifications.
- Provide technical and business guidance to field sales representatives.
- Determine material and labor costs associated with proposed equipment when outside of standard product lines. Track and follow up on these opportunities to ensure profitability.
- Work with corporate accounts teams across multiple market verticals to develop equipment packages.
- Develop technical expertise on product lines.
- Provide detailed technical training materials and perform training for field sales and service teams on areas of expertise. Training and materials may also be client facing.
- Develop and maintain technical information on product lines for integration into various systems and literature
Qualifications:
- Bachelors of Science degree in technical program, engineering related.
- 0+ years of water treatment experience or industrial equipment experience.
- Customer focused and general understanding of business.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Must be able to remain organized and work independently to manage rapidly moving sales situations.
- Ability to prioritize multiple opportunities to meet business objectives.
