Job description
Background:
Distributed Learning (DL) courseware/learning products employs an interactive multi-media instructional strategy used for training soldiers and civilians. Currently, there is no capability to determine the source of the issues and identify the measures to correct them. There is a need to identify, document, and distribute courseware/learning products solutions to ensure playability and usability of the content.
These functions shall support the development of courseware/learning products documentation for identified issues within existing platforms and environments. The deliverables associated with these tasks will serve as the basis for development and fielding specification documents to support customers and courseware developers.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and perform courseware/learning products documentation editorial activities including gathering, preparing, and creating courseware/learning products documents, Acceptance Criteria, technical reports, and any documentation to support courseware management document library.
- Design, prepare and develop technical reports, and technical reports related to but not limited to courseware/learning products development, playability, functionality, anomalies, debugging, troubleshooting, and designs that supports the development of courseware/learning products.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and briefings based upon the information proposed for the creation of any documentation for customers and courseware developers.
- Seek out customers and courseware developers for feedback and capture recommendation and suggestions to develop guidance for courseware/learning products.
- Modernize, update, and create courseware/learning products documentation and technical reports related to the development, update, and troubleshooting of courseware/learning products for new and proven industry trends/standards that are approved for use within computing infrastructure and schools.
Requirements:
- Must have software and web development experience
- Be able to obtain a government clearance
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Education, Communication, Education, English, or Journalism
Preferred Skills:
- Distributed Learning (DL) Courseware Development Experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication skills
Languages:
- Java, C#, C++, JavaScript, JScript, CSS, HTML
- DBMS: MySQL
- IDEs: Netbeans, Eclipse, Visual Studio, Selenium IDE
- Test Tools: TestComplete, Selenium
- Other Tools: Git, Jenkins

Pay: $70,000.00 per year
