Visual South, Inc., a Charlotte NC based ERP consulting and software sales firm, seeks an energetic and self-motivated individual to be the part-time AP/AR Accounting Clerk in our growing company. The candidate will assist our accountant who is responsible for all the financial transactions for Visual South in QuickBooks Desktop.

There is a high level of interaction with our consultants, office staff, and clients. The successful candidate must be outgoing, well-spoken, detail orientated, and comfortable in QuickBooks Desktop; along with keeping our paperwork well organized. This part-time position reports to our in-house accountant.

Experience in QuickBooks Desktop and Excel is a must. Experience in a service environment is a plus. This part-time position may require a trip to the office in concord, NC from time to time, but it is mainly a work from home position. The work schedule is flexible. This is about a 15-20 hour/week position.

The AP/AR Accounting Clerk’s responsibilities include:

• Receiving, verifying for accuracy, and recording AP invoices
• Creating customer invoices, verifying for accuracy
• Reconcile AR invoices with time logs
• Other tasks as they arise

The AP/AR Accounting Clerk’s requirements include:

• 3+ years Bookkeeping/QuickBooks experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on accuracy
• Degree and professional certifications preferred
