Central MN Mental Health Center has opportunities for Full-Time Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselors (LADC) in our Monticello and St Cloud Outpatient Substance Use Disorder (SUD) program. The LADC performs chemical dependency evaluations for clients, develops individual intervention, treatment and recovery plans, and facilitates or leads group sessions. The Duties may include but are not limited to:

• Provide diagnostic and therapeutic care to clients in our 245G Licensed SUD program
• Act as the primary counselor for the Adult Evening SUD Program
• Provide case management services
• Consultation and training
• Community engagement

For the Monticello position it would require availability till 7 or 8pm, three nights per week (Mondays until 8pm, Tuesdays until 7pm, Wednesdays until 8pm). Both positions have the possibility of a four-day work week (Fridays off). Potential for some work from home.

The wage range for this position is $52,000-$62,400 annually. The starting salary for each application will be based on years of experience for the position.

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical dependency or related human services field, or exempt under MN statutes 148C
• Certification as a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) through the MN Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy
• Two consecutive years free of problematic substance use
• Clearance from DHS and sexual exploitations screening
• Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record
• Maintain current CPR certification
• Must be 18 years old
