NES Health seeks aFull-TimeHospitalist Medicine Physician to join our practice at Regional Medical Center of Central Alabama located in Greenville, Alabama.
About the Hospital
- 72 Bed Community Hospital
- Evident/CPSI EMR
- Level III Trauma Center
- Coverage includes:
- Radiology and Teleradiology at night
- Stroke Center
- Pediatrics (clinical hours are 8-5 Mon-Fri)
- Anesthesiology
- Ultrasound
- Hospitalist
- 24/7 Tele ICU (7 Bed open ICU)
- Cardiology (2 days per week)
- 24/7 Tele Neurology (tele stroke for ED)
- 24/7 Tele Infections Disease
- 24/7 Tele Nephrology with input dialysis
About the Program and Hours
- Hospitalists admit 3-7 patients per day
- Hospitalist Program Daily Census: 17 patients per day (8-10 are geriatric psych patients that are not rounded on daily)
- Hospitalist responds to in house codes during the day. The overnight Physician Assistant responds at night.
- 12-hour Hospitalist Physician shift (7a-7p) and remote on-call at night
- 12-hour Physician Assistant Night shift (7p-7a).
- Solo night coverage APP covers both EM and Hospitalist program
- Responds to overnight floor codes
- Works independently at night in both the ED and covering the floor
- Must be comfortable with procedures and airway management
Qualifications
- Active Alabama license in the state or ability to attain unrestricted state license
- Candidate Must be BC/BE in IM or FM
- Active ACLS, ATLS, BLS and/or PALS
