Hiring positions for an upscale airline lounge at Newark Liberty International Airport.

Server:

• Serving food and beverages in a professional manner with high levels of customer service

• Setting and cleaning tables and service areas

• Presenting menus to customers and answer questions about menu items, making recommendations upon request

• Removing dishes and glasses from tables or counters, and take them to kitchen for cleaning

• Serving food and/or beverages to patrons; prepare and serve specialty dishes at tables as required

• Stocking service areas with supplies such as coffee, food, tableware, and linens

Housekeeper:

• Maintaining cleanliness of the shower rooms and bathrooms. (stock towels, empty hampers, wipe down counters/mirrors, refill products/paper supplies, take the trash out, restroom checks, and restocking).

• Sweeping and mop floors

• Cleaning by emptying trash, sweeping, and cleaning surfaces

• Cleaning and disinfecting restrooms and restroom equipments

• Using cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces

• Cleaning windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees

• Cleaning floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them as needed

• Dusting furniture and scrubbing surfaces clean

• Cleaning and servicing restrooms with mops and disinfectants

• Maintaining janitorial equipment in a clean, safe and operable condition

• Servicing, cleaning, and sanitizing restrooms and showers as needed

• Gathering and emptying trash and recyclables daily

• Restocking supplies in bathrooms and common areas as needed.

• Constant monitoring of cleanliness to ensure company standards are correctly maintained

Cook:

• Preparing all menu items for guest’s consumption with strict adherence to menu item recipes, specs and menu integrity while meeting all preparation standards and expectations

• Supporting operation by protecting food quality and presentation standards.

• Setting up and stocks stations fully at the start of shift

• Stocking ingredients in the station at all times

• Determining that all items have been stored/prepared to proper temperature

• Managing and maintaining cleanliness and condition of all kitchen equipment

• Assisting in stocking of the cook line, freezers, coolers and shelves

• Completing assigned janitorial tasks at the end of shift

• Protecting consumer health with strict adherence to all sanitary and safe food handling mandates and practices
