AIRPORT BAGGAGE HANDLERS

Huntleigh USA is a major supplier for aviation related services at Bradley International Airport. We are currently looking for luggage handlers who can assist the TSA in loading bags onto the X-Ray machines. Applicants must be able to lift bags up to 70 lbs and turn from left to right for 3 to 4 hour periods as required. Bags will be moved from the locations in front of the X-Ray and placed on the X-Ray belts as directed by the TSA. Why go to the gym when you can get your daily exercise and get paid a good wage at the same time!!

These positions are part time, but available 7 days a week. Full time work is also available in some of our other job functions if the applicant qualifies.

Description of Other Positions Available (Pay will vary based on position):

Aviation Security Agents are trained for a number of different positions which we provide, including those listed below:

• Aircraft Access Control: Work in the jetbridge and ensure only authorized personnel enter the aircraft while on the ground.
• Aircraft Ramp Access Control: Work on the ramp beside the Aircraft (in the AOA) and conduct security inspections and access to all companies requiring access to the aircraft while it is on the ground.
• Aircraft Search: Work inside the aircraft and search all areas of the aircraft according to company, and federal regulations to ensure the safety and security of the aircraft.
• Catering Security: Work at the catering kitchen facility and conduct security searches and inspections of all catering equipment, food containers, and vehicles used to transport the catering supplies to the aircraft.
• Charter Screening Security: Work for specific professional and collegiate sports teams to ensure the passengers traveling on these charters flights are screened in accordance to current TSA guidelines.

All of these position require you obtain Airport Badging which will require you to pass a 10 year criminal history background verification inspection. If you have had any felony convictions or outstanding warrants you will not be eligible for any of these positions.

Additional requirements

• Ability to effectively speak, write, and understand the English language
• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Must be able to pass all initial and recurrent training classes and exams required for these work positions
• Must have access to reliable transportation
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Upon hire, must provide proof of citizenship
• Must have clean driving record
