- Teaching certification is not required; however, expertise in the subject areas above are preferred
Work Experience:
- Experience teaching or instructing 3rd-8th grade
Description:
- Provide academic enrichment assistance to assigned students, in a small group using various teaching methods
- Establishes clear objectives for all lessons, units and projects; communicates objectives to students
- Organizes and supervises enrichment lessons, projects and activities that align with the school’s academic goals and student achievement
- Prepares materials and classroom settings for enrichment activities or projects
- Assist students in achieving a better understanding of specific subject material and in improving academic capabilities in designated areas
- Establish and maintain rapport with the assigned student(s), classroom teacher or parent(s)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: Up to $30.00 per hour
