Job description
As the Advanced Systems Engineer with JRC, you will support the Missile Defense (MD) Architect in conducting assessments of MD threats, capability gaps, challenges, needs, and opportunities to drive development of potential system mitigations and architecture solutions to address those issues.
As the Advanced Systems Engineer, you will
- Lead development of objectives for the Joint Exercises with MDA and the Warfighter to influence the conduct of Wargames and to gather key insights to influence future architectures
- Assess MD threats, capability gaps, challenges, needs and opportunities, and develop potential system mitigations and capability evolutions at the architecture level
- Support coordination with other MDA organizations, Warfighter, DoD and other external organizations to further define architecture-level sensor, weapon, and command & control mitigations to address MD architecture gaps.
- Assist in development of objectives and blue force lay down of Warfighter wargames with the goal of showing the Warfighter the future architectures and to gather input from the Warfighter on gaps we're still working on.
What you bring to the table...
- A Master of Science (STEM) degree
- 12+ years' of experience
- An Active Secret clearance
- Deep understanding of the current MDS architecture
- Exercise and Wargame experience
- Warfighter experience
Desired Skills:
- Ability to obtain a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) clearance
- Experience with application of modeling & simulation to defense architectures
- HPC experience
- MBSE experience
