The ND Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) Aging Services Division is seeking an ADRL Transition Services Specialist to manage the application and management of the ADRL Transition and Diversion Services.

This position is classified as temporary and is expected to last at least through March 2025. This position is temporary anticipated to be ongoing and long-term. Temporary employees are fully integrated members of their team. Temporary employees participate in development, performance and coaching conversations like any other team member. As our ADRL Transition Services Specialist , you will use your knowledge of Medicaid programs and services for disability and aging populations to manage the ADRL transition and diversion service referral application process including eligibility determination, assignment of service providers, review and approval of all spending request, recording of program data and program quality management. You will provide technical assistance related to program eligibility and spending guidelines to providers as well as provide referral materials as needed. In addition, you will work closely with the ADRL staff and MFP Program Administrator to ensure documentation of required data reporting for the Department of Justice Settlement Agreement is completed. You will use Microsoft applications on a daily basis.

You will use your leadership and relationship skills to develop and maintain positive working relationships with a broad range of entities with diverse interests.

To be considered for this position , you must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in social work, psychology, behavioral sciences, or an allied field, AND at least two (2) years’ experience in Home and Community-Based long-term care programs.

ND DHHS utilizes a blended workplace model. Depending on the role, employees may work from home, onsite or both. This position may work from home within the state of North Dakota.
