The Kentucky Logistics Operations Division is hiring an Administrative Specialist III position that provides professional support to the division head, office or unit in developing, implementing and maintaining various complex programs, projects or activities.
Job duties include but are not limited to the following:
The Kentucky Logistics Operations Division is hiring an Administrative Specialist III position that provides professional support to the division head, office or unit in developing, implementing and maintaining various complex programs, projects or activities.
Job duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Maintains/provides reports for the complex Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support program on daily production of cost of shipment, number of orders per shipment, total of items shipped within the division & balance of orders, verifying balances with Frankfort, reporting to management within the division and the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support.
- Responsible for overseeing and submission of division timesheets to the payroll office in Frankfort.
- Verifies timekeepers have the current information, enters time and attendance on time sheets for submission.
- Works with the payroll office in Frankfort in solving payroll issues.
- Prepares travel for employees who are required to go to other locations for business.
- Processes vouchers and verifies all information required is correct and submits to Frankfort for processing.
- Schedules all training for employees and verifies class, time, dates and confirmation with employees within the division.
Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION: Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Three years of professional, administrative, or business experience.
Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: Additional education will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: Additional administrative, business, research, and/or clerical experience will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.): NONE

Incumbents working in this job title primarily perform duties in an office setting.
