As the Administrative Specialist, you will assist the Office Manager in organizing and coordinating the activities related to the smooth operation of our facilities and the important work we do.

Here is how you will make an impact:
- Maintain and support implementation of the health, safety and security protocol for the building.
- Provide a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all staff, members and guests.
- Coordinate and ensure accessible facilities and organization.
- Implement and maintain inventory and restocking systems.
- Provide administrative support including printing, mailing, computer tasks, light bookkeeping, and inter-office correspondence.
- Answer phones as needed.
- Coordinate and assist with facilities management including the scheduling and tracking of facilities/maintenance personnel/services.
- Implement and maintain “special projects” including but not limited to technology safeguards, front desk organization, etc.
- Annual Gala support including the administrative management of event auction.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- GED or high school diploma
- At least two years of front desk/administrative support, preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office
Skills & Abilities:
- Passion for making a positive change in the world, with a focus on inclusion
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize work
- Excellent writing and verbal communication
- Confident interpersonal and collaborative working style
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
