Job Position Purpose/Summary: The Administrative Assistant – SVP/CFO provides administrative and project support to the SVP/Chief Financial Officer (SVP/CFO). In addition to assisting with general administrative duties, the Administrative Assistant- SVP/CFO provides support to the finance department in the following areas: accounting, investments/ALM, and payments and to the Enterprise Risk Management and Internal Operations department as requested. The Administrative Assistant -SVP/CFO will act as a back-up to other administrative assistants as needed.
Education & Experience: We pride ourselves in our advocacy for education, growth, and opportunity for experience. This position would minimally require a high school education or GED, with a preference for an Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field Degree or Certificate. At least two (2) years of related experience.
Essential Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Due to the nature of this role in dealing with our members on an on-going basis, the position requires (and is not limited to):
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel to design, create, and maintain complex spreadsheets.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite programs.
- Proficient in creating visual presentations using PowerPoint
- Proficient with standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, PCs, etc.
- Effective and positive oral and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Efficient time management and organizational skills.
- Able to perform basic mathematical functions.
- Flexible and able to adapt to changing environment.
- High detail orientation.
- Forward concerns and issues to manager as needed and adhere to confidentiality.
- Establish and maintain an employee and member friendly environment.
