Part-time Administrative Assistant - KCIT

NOVA is the comprehensive victim services organization in Bucks County. With a 48-year history, NOVA has expanded to include a continuum of prevention and direct services to prevent and address the needs of victims of sexual abuse and other serious crimes. NOVA is known across many disciplines and the community at large for its exceptional services and professionalism. Administrative Assistant – Keystone Crisis Intervention Team (KCIT) position will be located remotely. However, the candidate must be able to come to the Jamison office periodically and therefore are seeking candidates who live in the Philadelphia tri-state area. The Keystone Crisis Intervention Team (KCIT), a service of NOVA, provides group crisis intervention to communities impacted by crime throughout the state of Pennsylvania.

This position is responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and maintaining volunteer records, assisting with the onboarding process of new volunteers, and assisting in coordinating volunteer meetings, training, and program events. This role works closely with the internal staff and indirectly with volunteers.

The Administrative Assistant position is remote but will need to attend internal and external meetings as assigned or appropriate and provides backup assistance with the KCIT hotline and deployments.

This is a part-time, 10-hours-a-week remote position. Although remote, position will be required for in person meetings on occasion. KCIT is a grant-funded project: Employment is contingent on continued or renewed grant funding.

Qualifications:

· Commitment to and understanding of NOVA’s mission, and the work of KCIT

· High school diploma or GED

· Two years of professional administrative experience preferred

· Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and other Microsoft applications

· Excellent interpersonal communication, organization, time management, and attention to detail skills

· Ability to work independently on multiple tasks

· Consistent and reliable access to transportation

· Able to work a flexible schedule

· Meets all required clearances for employment (e.g., IRCA, Criminal Record Check, etc.).
