The YWCA Contra Costa / Sacramento is a state funded pre-school / childcare program serving children ages 2-8, depending on the classroom. We are seeking an extremely organized team player to assist with our pre-school enrollment process throughout Contra Costa County.

Responsibilities include enrolling children into our State-funded pre-school programs, scheduling appointments and following up with parent questions and concerns. You will also update rosters, review monthly food forms and provide general office support

This is a full-time position with full benefits: medical, dental/vision/life after a three month probationary period. The daily hours and schedule are as follows:

Monday through Thursday; 8am to 4:30pm with a 30 minute lunch.

Mondays: Admin Office in Martinez

Tuesdays: Richmond / Hidden Valley in Martinez

Wednesdays: Bay Point and Delta in Bay Point

Thursdays: Mary Rocha (Antioch) and Freedom (Oakley)

Requirements/Background:

  • Solid computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite – especially Excel)
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure
  • Excellent customer service as you will be meeting with many parents throughout the day and speaking with them by phone
  • Data entry and report writing experience a plus
  • Spanish speaking a plus

Salary: $32.00 to $35.00 depending on experience

You are required to take and pass fingerprint check, provide DMV record, as well as take a physical and agility test. Must have recent TB test results (or test will be provided during physical) and be able to provide the following immunization record: FLU, MMR and Tdap shots.
