SUMMARY
The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative assistance support to the Project Integration Office for the F-22 Formal Training Unit Beddown at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, VA.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Includes the following:
- Support the Chairman and Deputy Chairman of the F-22 FTU Beddown Project Integration Office (PIO), all members of the PIO, and the 633d CES/CENM staff.
- Provide all administrative assistance to the PIO to include minutes of all meetings, all required PowerPoint slides, all Excel Spreadsheets, all Word Documents, electronic files, SharePoint file updates, scheduling of PIO meetings, attend and document all PIO meetings, maintain Issue Management Log, and manage Project Gantt chart.
- Provide all administrative assistance, prepare various documents, reports, and correspondence for the PIO.
- Provide weekly input for Weekly Activity Report to PIO Chairman.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Completed BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum of three (3) years of related administrative experience is required.
- Utilizing and applying computer software including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Superior time management skills
- Working knowledge of administrative practices is required.
- United States citizen with a clear background for government security investigation with the ability to obtain a Clearance or Common Access Card (CAC)
- Ability to successfully pass a federal background check and a drug screen
- Cherokee Federal has suspended it’s COVID mandate. However it’s important to note that Cherokee Federal employees are included as covered employees in U.S. Presidential Executive Order 14042, which mandates Covid vaccines for federal contractors. Executive Order 14042 is currently not subject to enforcement by the Federal government. Therefore, Cherokee Federal has suspended application of the mandate and continues to monitor the government’s guidance on administration of any vaccine requirement.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position is primarily performed in a secured federal office setting, a controlled office environment as well as working outside in a job site environment.
