Administrative Assistant - HR Support
Job description
This position will serve as the primary administrative support for the DCS HR Leadership Team and is the first line of contact for the agency’s HR Department. The individual selected will be the “face of HR” and will work with staff across the agency on various issues and projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Provides administrative support to the HR Leadership Team, including the Executive Director of HR, 4 HR Field Directors, the Internal Affairs Director and the HR Manager – this includes, but is not limited to, maintaining calendars, making travel arrangements, processing mail, etc.
· Maintaining and ordering supplies for central office HR
· Issuing badges, bus passes, parking passes and building access for central office staff
· Works with the agency’s Volunteer Coordinator to ensure state approval for all DCS volunteers
· Serves as the agency’s Employee Recognition Coordinator which includes monthly Employee of the Month awards/presentation, Employee of the Year awards/presentation, and Annual Service Awards presentation
· Serves as the agency’s Tennessee Employee Charitable Campaign Coordinator
· Assists with background checks and onboard/offboarding tasks
· Assists with/coordinates meeting and event planning
· Assists with HR social media posts and may assist with off-site recruiting events on an as-needed basis
· Assists with filing and other HR duties as assigned

Work Location: This position does not require regular travel. This is an in-office position stationed in downtown Nashville.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $3,542.00 - $5,300.00 per month
