Part-Time, non-benefits eligible, up to 19 hours per week
($30.00 per hour, Needed immediately for 6-8 months)

As our new temporary Business Operations Specialist, you will provide instrumental support to the Business Office team, and have exposure to a wide variety of tasks. You will become familiar with numerous operational and financial processes. We would love to welcome you to our friendly team!
Job Responsibilities:
- Fulfill purchase requests and make payments as needed for staff and departments around the school.
- Process, verify, and monitor routine financial transactions, which may include researching and resolving discrepancies.
- Respond to basic e-mail inquiries; determine and take appropriate action as needed. Serve as a resource for staff questions regarding policies and procedures. Draft and/or generate routine communications.
- Perform data entry in Excel and Google Sheets; work with complex reports and spreadsheets which may utilize specialized software and systems.
- Provide general administrative support for Stanford Online High School staff; identify and resolve problems that are administrative in nature.
- Perform duties associated with scheduling, organizing, and operating conferences, seminars, and events, including recommending vendors for services, overseeing the production and distribution of materials, coordinating logistics, and serving as liaison with internal and external vendors.
- Plan and schedule calendar(s) based on consultation, resolve calendaring conflicts, and arrange travel in compliance with unit, university, and sponsor policies.
- Other duties as assigned
To be successful in this position, you will bring:
High school diploma and relevant experience. Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Close attention to detail, organizational skills and high degree of accuracy and ownership.
- Proficient computer skills and demonstrated experience with office software and email applications. Outlook, Excel, and Google Suite proficiency strongly preferred.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task; an independent work ethic.
- Capability to follow through and complete routine tasks.
- Flexibility in daily/weekly hours and schedule.
