Title: Administration Assistant / Bookkeeper
Job Duties: The Administrative Assistant / Bookkeeper provides support as it relates to the day-to-day business operations and performs general administrative, office and project support activities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Associate of Arts in business office administration, accounting or similar degree or equivalent experience,
- 5+ years administrative experience, including bookkeeping experience,
- Proficient in all aspects of MS Office and QuickBooks,
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain electronic files for entities, leases, and other matters,
- Assist with responses to subpoenas and other requests for documents or testimony as directed by General Counsel; track status of responses,
- Assist Real Estate Accountant with maintaining the various real estate entities in QuickBooks,
- Annually disseminate tax returns and k-1s to various partners,
- Various HUD loan related tasks,
- Prepare documents as directed by General Counsel; disseminate documents for signing, track signatures and maintain electronic files,
- Prepare organizational documents and forms for filing with the Secretary of State as directed by General Counsel; maintain entity files,
- Maintain company vehicle registrations, new vehicle paperwork and add/delete from auto insurance,
- Compile and disseminate Board of Director and Real Estate Partner Meeting packets on an annual basis.
