Overview: Trinity Lutheran Church located at 443 Henry Street, Herkimer, NY is hiring a part-time Administrative Assistant to staff the office, support the Church Council, and work collaboratively with the congregation.

A Successful Administrative Assistant has:

• Competence with Technology

• Strong communication skills

• The ability to maintain clerical tasks including filing, calendar, record-keeping

• A willingness to learn

• Motivation to work independently

• Skills necessary to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

• The ability to maintain confidentiality when needed

This position will offer around ten hours of work per week, with flexibility in scheduling. The employee reports to the President of the Church Council, and is part of an employee team of several part-time workers. Training will be provided as needed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.20 - $15.00 per hour
