The McGowan Companies a family owned insurance agency located in Fairview Park, Ohio is seeking an entry level Administrative Assistant to provide confidential, high level administrative and secretarial support to the CEO and to support branch offices in travel, purchasing, and other administrative functions. The ideal individual will be friendly, focused, upbeat and organized and demonstrate strengths in customer service, professionalism and confidentiality. The role of
Administrative Assistant is best suited for applicants who are deadline and detail oriented and computer proficient who have good interpersonal, verbal, writing and time management skills.
Due to the nature of this position, a background or credit check may be conducted.
In addition to acting as a liaison and contact for the CEO, the entry level administrative assistant will be responsible for numerous tasks including but not limited to:
· Document production via transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying and transmitting text, data and graphics
· Reading, researching, composing and routing correspondence.
· Calendar, schedule and appointment maintenance.
· Executive travel arrangements.
· Maintenance of office hospitality and supply inventory and ordering.
· Maintenance of small office electronics and some vendor agreements.
· Other clerical, secretarial or administrative duties as needed.
