Summary:
Under the direct supervision of the Executive Assistant to the CEO/Chairman, the Administrative Assistant position provides administrative support to the Corporate Office at Inseego. We are looking for someone who can take on multiple tasks at once, be independent but follow instructions, work with deadlines and have a great overall attitude. Must be a people person and have great communication skills and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
This is a hybrid role and will require this person to be in the office 2-3 days per week.
Responsibilities:
- Retrieve documents and files when requested
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages
- Assist with shipping & receiving
- Answering calls and taking messages when needed
- Typing, Filing, Faxing
- Scheduling appointments
- Tracking and submitting expenses
- Assisting with customer meetings and lunches
- Providing administrative support to HR for tasks such as in-house events for Corporate and Nancy Ridge office as well as ad-hoc tasks
- Scheduling maintenance repairs, ordering building access badges for all, and scheduling visitor tours of space
- Order and stock supplies, snacks, and sodas daily for Corporate and Nancy Ridge Offices
- Backup to the EA for the CEO & C-Level Suite
- Backup Travel Administrator
- All other duties as assigned.
Experience/Requirements:
- Minimum 1 -2 years of general office work/administrative assistant experience required
- Working knowledge of office devices and processes
- Good knowledge of MS Office. Word, Excel, and Outlook knowledge required
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Must have a thorough knowledge of office machines (copier, adding machines, etc.)
- Excellent telephone and computer skills
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required
- Effective time management, self-management, organization, and multi-tasking skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public
- Ability to perform at a high energy level
- High level of confidentiality is required
Education:
- High School Diploma or higher required
