The Position

Under the direct supervision of the Director of the Housing Management, the Administrative Assistant will perform a variety of operational duties as they relate to the Housing Management Division. Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to, general clerical duties, procurement activities, grievance activities, contract management, scheduling, and all other duties as assigned.

Benefit Information

* Sick leave is accrued at 6 hours per month.

* Vacation leave for new employees is accrued at 8 hours per month.

* 12 paid holidays per year with an optional paid day off.

Minimum Experience Requirement

* High school diploma or GED.

* One (1) year of college level course work in related field.

* Three (3) years of experience working in a professional business office environment.

* Must type 45 wpm and highly proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and in a variety of other software or quick to learn.

* Skill in the application of existing guidelines to a variety of work situations.

* Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of position.

* Ability to use common sense and tact in disseminating information.

* Ability to deal with stressful situations.

* A combination of appropriate education and experience may be substituted for the minimum experience requirement.

* A valid Colorado driver license is required. Eligibility to drive must be maintained in accordance with DHA policy.

Starting Salary

$4,581.26 to $ $5,726.54/month ($26.43 - $33.04/hr.)

Pay: $26.43 - $33.04 per hour
