Adjunct Instructor - Global and Diversity Studies - Alfred State College
Job description
The School of Arts and Sciences at Alfred State College invites applications for Adjunct Instructors in Global and Diversity Studies.
Primary duties include teaching sections of an interdisciplinary gateway global studies course, Global Perspectives, to majors across the College. In compliance with the Middle States requirements on undergraduate education and the State University of New York undergraduate general education requirements, the course engages students with content on values, ethics, and diverse perspectives as well as cultural and global awareness and cultural sensitivity. This course also serves as an introduction to the general education curricula for all majors.
We are seeking adjuncts who can teach this course on campus face-to-face.

Job Requirements:
Minimum Requirements: Applicants must have a Master's degree or 12 graduate credit hours in a humanities and/or cross-cultural coursework with college-level teaching experience preferred.
