Adjunct Faculty, Business and Entrepreneurship
Job description
Columbia College Chicago actively promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion as vitally important to its present and future success. These principles are essential to the educational experiences of our students, staff, and faculty.
The Business and Entrepreneurship department examines the creative industries through a business perspective. By providing students with fundamental business, marketing, and entrepreneurial knowledge and skills, the department deepens a student’s academic studies through concentrations focusing on the performing, visual, and media arts; the music industry; and digital marketing.
To be qualified to teach at the college, candidates must possess a terminal degree in the relevant discipline —or at least one degree above the level at which they teach. In terminal degree programs, faculty members will possess the same level of degree. In extraordinary cases, a history of distinguished professional work, compelling creative achievements, or other significant experience in the relevant field may be considered as an alternative to the required degree.
Position subject to a background screening.
This is a union position.
