Lakewood Villa is currently seeking an Activities Assistant who will work closely with the Life Enrichment Director and Lead Activities Assistant to develop and implement a variety of activities and events to create a stimulating and fun environment for our residents. This may be a full time or part time opportunity according to availability.

What You will Do:

• Plan, implement and monitor wellness and recreation programs to meet the specific needs of residents
• Works in cooperation as part of the Life Enrichment Department to create and implement a dynamic program of activities to meet the varying needs of residents
• Assist with planning and execution of seasonal decorations, art shows, and other displays.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and their families.
• Work collaboratively with other staff and maintain a positive attitude.

What You will Need:

• One year of activities programming experience with older adults preferred but not required
• Compassion and desire to work with the senior population
• Flexibility with schedule including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
