Position Overview:
The Accounts Receivable Billing Specialist will be responsible for effectively processing plant tickets and invoicing customers out of our Corporate Office in New Hampton, IA. The ideal candidate will have previous experience and/or education in Accounting and be a detail and deadline-oriented individual who has computer skills with a strong background in Microsoft Excel. This is a full-time, seasonal position and reports to the Head of Accounts Receivable.

Essential Duties and Functions:
- Provide A+ customer service to customers and other Croell employees, depts, and managers
- Learn and understand the internal coding structure
- Learn and understand sales tax rules for multiple states
- Process customer tickets with a high degree of accuracy
- Index, validate, and attach tickets in accounting software
- Review audit reports and be able to recognize and correct ticketing errors
- Process customer credit card payments
- Communicate with customers and plant managers in a professional and confidential manner
- Cross-train on Accounts Receivable processes for overall understanding
- Think outside the box to help improve processes and embrace change and progress
- Be willing to take on varied additional duties as assigned, as this job description is non-exhaustive
- Willingness to perform duties outside the normal scope of work (i.e. work outside normal hours)
- Actively participate with your team in a constructive manner
Position Requirements:
- Consent to authorization of a pre-employment background check and drug test
- Two-year college degree or equivalent experience
- Proficient computer skills and ability to learn in-house software applications
- Knowledge of state sales tax is beneficial
- Self-motivated to exceed expectations and meet deadlines
- Strong time management, problem-solving, and organizational skills with an eye for details
- Grasp new concepts quickly and have a strong comprehension of the material
- Maintain a high degree of accuracy
- Understand instructions from supervisory positions, both written and verbal
- Basic mathematical skills (i.e. Add, Subtract, Multiply, Divide)
- Possess excellent communication skills in both written and verbal forms
