The Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the accounts payable and cash receipts functions including systems, policies and staff.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

· Oversees Accounts Payable and Cash Receipts functional groups in all aspects of each teams’ duties with focus on adherence to Firm policies and procedures for those areas and the practical application of those policies as it relates to the daily operations of the team.

· Possesses thorough knowledge of Elite 3E as it pertains to accounts payable and cash receipts applications, Chrome River Expense & Invoice System, various Online Banking Websites, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

· Ensures quality and timely customer service is provided to internal and external customers through regular interaction with team members and consistent adherence to and reinforcement of the Firm’s and the department’s overall service commitments.

· Builds and maintains strong relationships with outside vendors, attorneys and internal finance leaders to help ensure timely payments and resolution of issues

· Reviews various disbursement reports for accuracy and adherence to Firm policies including but not limited to, weekly voucher aging report, online banking book transfer requests, and weekly foreign vendor payments.

· Manages banking relationships as it pertains to online banking setups and processing changes related to authorized check signers.

· Performs routine system review of both 3E & Chrome River to ensure vouchers are routing through the system and are being processed timely.

· Oversees the annual 1099 reporting and subsequent 1096 filing and responds to notices from the IRS as they apply to incorrect 1099 filings.

· Identifies, recommends and implements strategies to improve department efficiencies and meet the department’s overall service standards.

· Participates in special projects as required.

· Provides employee training/coaching/mentoring, coordination of work schedules, and coordination of work-loads.

· Conducts annual performance reviews and address employee disciplinary matters as needed.

· Other duties as assigned.
