  Accounting Consultant / Interim Controller Needed ASAP

  • Pay: $60-$70/hour
  • Start Date: ASAP (10/17 or sooner)
  • Contract Length: 6 months (contract to hire)
  • Location: City of Industry, CA (onsite/hybrid)

  A growing furniture manufacturer is seeking an Accounting Consultant / Interim Controller to join their team in City of Industry, CA immediately.

  Responsibilities of the Accounting Consultant / Interim Controller:

  • Supervise the overall daily accounting operations
  • Lead the month close process including account reconciliations
  • Lead the preparation of monthly financial statements and variance analysis
  • Manage process of reviewing and recording transactions
  • Oversee the accounts payable and receivable functions
  • Maintain knowledge of organizational procedures, federal/state regulations, and accounting standards

  Requirements/Qualifications:

  • 7+ years accounting leadership experience. Previous Controllership is a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
  • QuickBooks experience
  • Cost Accounting experience is required
  • Manufacturing experience is a plus
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
