Summary and Scope of Position:
Premium Bottled Waters LLC is looking for an Accounting/Office Administrator. The individual will be responsible for processing various accounting and office activities. Duties include but are not limited to accounts receivable, payroll, accounts payable, recordkeeping, creating po's, compliance, responding to customer inquiries, and other duties as assigned.
General Duties:
The Accounting Assistant will assist in the following areas:
- Process and distribute invoices to customers
- Create and process POs.
- Correspond, research, and resolve any inquiries from customers and employees
- Perform all duties associated with accounting functions, which includes extensive communication with our corporate office
- Perform customer set-up, GL coding, and maintain logs and reports.
- Perform office duties including answering phones, mail distribution, bank deposits, new hire process, personnel files, assisting payroll and accounts payable when needed, and file maintenance.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Training will be done in Fresno, CA office location.
- Work location will be at Madera, CA.
The successful candidate will be able to perform in the following areas with or without reasonable accommodation;
- Able to meet the requirement to work full hours;
- Ability to complete all paperwork completely, accurately and in a timely manner;
- Complete all aspects of payroll duties assigned in accordance with written and oral procedures;
- Submit all transactions journals on a daily basis;
- Proficiency with Quickbooks, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in entering financial data;
- Outstanding math and research skills;
- Ability to maintain confidentiality;
- Proficiency with 10-key typing and data entry;
- Deadline-driven with excellent time management ability;
- Bilingual skills a plus;
- Any other reasonable work related requests.
Qualifications:
- Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices;
- 1-3 years of general accounting experience;
- 1-3 years of experience working with payroll, accounts receivable, and accounts payable;
- Experience with Quickbooks is required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
