The Company: Big Machine Distillery is a fast-growing premium spirits company with corporate offices located on Music Row. The sister company to Big Machine Label Group, Big Machine Distillery operates in a fast-paced, creative environment and serves as the hub for our multi-state sales team, our three tasting rooms located on 3rd Ave in downtown Nashville, on Bransford Ave in Berry Hill, and our main distillery in Lynnville, TN. The Brand is growing nationally, leading to new and exciting ventures daily.

The Position: The Accounting Assistant provides support for various company departments. The person in this role will report to the VP of Operations.

Job responsibilities include:

• Maintains the budget and accounting records for each assigned project or location
• Accurately inputs and edits data, to include checks, statements, reports, and other records. Produces finished documents and reports efficiently
• Expense Management
• Assigning expenses to projects and categories for detailed reporting
• Reconciling expenses to approved budget and/or purchase order. Communicating variances to management.
• Reconcile monthly credit cards statements and match receipts accordingly
• Review monthly expense balances for variances and investigate differences

Reports

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual budget reports for department review
• Prepares and accurately maintains a variety of standard operating records and reports, including those required by management and/or government regulations
• Assists with conducting inventory and preparing reports for operational endeavors
• Reconcile spending and report discrepancies
